The thing just collapses too easily when any pressure is put on the rim. If the pan is filled with dense food product its fine, but I can see taking a piping hot roast out of the oven. setting the foldtuk on the counter, applying too much pressure as I set it down, and having the thing collapse and hot fat spilling out all over me and the floor! Nice enough to keep and not send back, but beware if using it for the family bird/roast. The lid also doesn't quite fit on the bottom the way it is advertised, to seal in flavor, etc. Once again, take the lid off to baste the bird and then put the lid back on, apply too much pressure, the bottom collapses in on itself, and hot turkey fat....well, you can get the possible horrifying scenario.
